Appointments
We value your time and will make every attempt to remain on schedule throughout the day. As a pediatric specialty office, we reserve an appointment time for your child based on their need and level of cooperation. Each child is unique, and some may require more “behavior guidance” time than others. We ask for your patience and understanding as we care for each child, and remember that your child may be the next one needing our extra attention.
As a courtesy, our office will remind you of your appointment one week prior to the scheduled date. We will require confirmation 1 to 2 days before your visit. In the event that you need to reschedule your child’s appointment time, we request 24 hours’ notice be given so we are able to offer that time to another child in need of care.
During the school months, late afternoon appointments are in high demand. We will try to accommodate after-school requests as much as possible, and ask for your understanding when we need to appoint during school hours. We will happily provide you with an excuse for your child’s absence from school.
Finances
Payment for professional services is due at the time treatment is provided. Our office accepts cash, personal checks, debit cards, and most major credit cards. We also accept Care Credit. Every effort will be made to provide a treatment plan that fits your budget, while still providing the best possible care for your child.
Dental Insurance
If we have all of your insurance information the day of the appointment, we will be happy to file your claim for you. Filing your insurance is not a guarantee of payment for the services performed.
No insurance pays 100% of all procedures. In fact, most dental insurance carriers will pay between 50% and 80% of the average total fee. Dental insurance is meant to be an aid in receiving dental care. Our office bases treatment on your child’s needs, not what your insurance will pay. Insurance payment is determined by usual and customary fees. These fees are not always the same as our fees, and some insurance companies will pay more or some will pay less. Please keep us up-to-date of any changes in your insurance information.
