What is a Pediatric Dentist?

Pediatric dentistry is one of the nine recognized dental specialties of the American Dental Association. Pediatric dentists complete two or three years of additional specialized training after dental school. This extra education prepares them for treating a wide variety of children’s dental problems, including guiding behavior and dental development. They are also specially trained and qualified to care for patients with medical, physical, or mental disabilities.

Dr. Stacey is Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.

Board certification is a means to demonstrate that the professional has met and exceeded the highest standards of care in their chosen specialty, which will allow him/her to provide the best possible oral health care for your child.
